Zoom on in to the fourteenth annual
Lyon County Fly-In, Armed Forces Weekend, Saturday and
Sunday, May 15 and 16, 2010, at the Silver Springs Airport for a weekend of fun-filled skies. The Fly-In is officially open
from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday and 3:00 PM Sunday and there will be a pancake breakfast each day, free to pilots
who fly in, from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
The Lyon County Fly-In is about antique aircraft alongside modern military and fire-fighting planes. Meet pilots,
builders, and restorers of military, antique, and ultra-light aircraft. Enjoy the “Young Eagles” program where we take
young people aloft for their first off-the-ground experience.
The Lyon County Fly-In offers the Young Eagles First Flight program, where youth ages 8 to 17 can fly FREE with a general aviation pilot. This encourages young people to consider their future in math, science, or aviation. The Lyon County Fly-In has flown a record number of kids in the past two years, and we hope to top even that!

The Fly-In will also feature vendors, food, and crafters to please all tastes.
Our VIP Chalet will provide special seating and refreshments for VIPs, sponsors, and pilots flying in for the day.
Our Raffle is growing daily with great prizes to be won! Watch this space for updates. Buy your tickets at our Raffle Booth near the pilot registration area.

Gunfighters and will be alive and
a-blaze with gunfights and action of the old West all day on

Sierra Nevada Unit of WBCCI (Wally Byam Caravan Club International) is a club of Airstream RV owners affiliated with the parent organization, the Airstream RV Association. The Club will be in charge of cooking and serving the breakfast both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Visit this great group while you are at the Fly-In.
